Please visit GoSlowCayeCaulker.com for detailed information on how to get to Caye Caulker.
We suggest making a pit stop at the Arrival Duty Free store at the International Airport in Belize City. Wine, liquor and cigarettes are much cheaper there than on the island!
When you arrive at Caye Caulker airport or the water taxi terminal, we recommend hopping on one of the golf cart taxis. It’s a short ride and the cost is $10 BZ ($5 US) per person from and to the airport, or $5 BZ ($2.50 US) per person from and to the water taxi. Taxis are usually readily available, but if you prefer, we’d be happy to schedule a ride for you.
Most taxi drivers know The Gumbo Limbo but just in case, we are located on Avenida Pueblo Nuevo right before Anchorage Hotel.
In Case You Want To Walk...
Let us remind you that the golf cart taxi ride is only $2.50US per person, but if you choose to walk, please find the directions from the airport and the water taxi below. Both ways, you can also walk the beach and it’s an about 10-minute walk.
Our entrance is on Avenida Pueblo Nuevo, so if you decide to walk the beach, you can walk through the adjacent resort next door to get to our gate at The Gumbo Limbo.
